Revolutionizing Office Spaces: Kabeilu by Guangzhou Health Union Decoration Design Co., Ltd.

Blending Business, Art, and Innovation in a Modern Office Design

The Kabeilu project, covering a total of 3000 square meters, is a transformation of an old workshop into a modern office space. The original main structure was retained, and new elements were added, including an upgraded elevator, creating a harmonious blend of old and new. The design team, consisting of Susan Chen, Jacky Guo, and Xiaoli Luo, used the three keywords of "business, art, and innovation" as the keynote of the new office space.

The unique properties of this design lie in its flexibility and diversity. The office space is designed to accommodate different cooperation modes, providing a communication area with a variety of working environments. The public space is expanded at appropriate locations, offering rest areas, leisure communication areas, and mobile office areas, allowing people to experience life at work.

Technologically, the design utilizes epoxy resin floors for their good abrasion resistance, adhesion, and visual effect. Marble floor tiles add a touch of elegance, and aluminum's excellent corrosion resistance and durability are a major feature. The molding strips are selected from aluminum strip profiles, plated in white, echoing the overall space tone and achieving a high degree of unity.

The project, started in April 2018 in Guangzhou and finished in January 2019, faced challenges in maintaining the harmony of the whole space while considering the relaxed and lively office soft function. The designers also had to ensure the happiness of workers and inspire every user's enthusiasm and inspiration for work. A notable feature is the art installation at the entrance of the front hall, which looks like an independent landscape but is the core of Kabeilu and the entrance of the visual feast.

This innovative design was recognized with a Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation. The Kabeilu project is a shining example of how office spaces can be transformed into engaging, flexible, and inspiring environments that reflect a company's unique culture and brand.
